    Icon12 Reggae styled rock

    Aka rock with a reggae flavour.

    The best example I know of is The Police's song Walking on the Moon - a very laid back rock song that's got a strong reggae feel to it - one of my current favourites. If anyone's heard anything similar that may be worth checking out, post it!

    well, for a more modern (and much heavier) feel, check out skindred. A Welsh band that has a mix of rap, heavy metal, punk and reggae.

    Then there's Skindred, that guy's kind of like a mix between Regae, rock and heavy metal, and maybe rap a little bit.

    Yes, the Police draw heavily on Reggae. If you listen to Ska, it is really just dancehall (fast music popular in the Carribean before Reggae was popular) and a little rock.
