This has to be the funniest mod I have ever seen for HL2.
It is pretty simple, you pick either to be a pirate, viking or a knight and then you go have at each other.
Some maps are pure TDM, others are control the area and some where you have to steal and hold a chest for a certain amount of time or steal as many chests as possible.
It is really fun

E: Alright, after playing a couple of hours, I can say that this definetely is worth downloading. I had some great laughs with this. Can't wait for the next release.
Pirate class seems to be a bit overpowered in some maps, since they just keep spamming those explosives :p Knights didn't win any battles during my play, but they are my favourite class.
Everyone, please try this. It's already awesome (considering it's free) and there seems to be more on it's way =)

Their easter "egg" was an news update telling the community how they were going to implement "ninjas" into the game - therefore making it "PVKN" or something like that .

Of course it was all foolery (April).

Is the heavy knight going to get a 3rd weapon when they take the crossbow from them?

I think they will get the flail, like they had in PVK 1.

But don't quote me on that one.

Easily the best mod for HL2 out right now.

Screw DoD or CS, PVK is the shi--shtuff.

PVK1 was definately my all time favorite HL1 mod and now the second one is out. I can't wait for the later versions with more classes.

The pirates do have a real imbalance, hopefully kegs will be made into either friendly fire explosives, have a much smaller range, or maybe be pickupable only in the world like food or ammo. I'm waiting eagerly for the next set of characters, although it doesn't include my favorites from the original (Pirate sniper and Viking spearman. )

Yeah those kegs are annoying as hell.
Most servers have turned off FF so the pirates just throw them around like it is nothing.
However try out a server where FF is on, then the kegs aren't much of a bother anymore.

Haha! I'm surprised to see other people actually also playing this game. I was a big fan of PVK I though it began to die later on and no servers could be found.
