For a warzone, the southern part of Morrowind has been quite peaceful. Only small skirmishes have been fought in the course of many seasons, and there is still no sign of movement from the main forces of The Tribunal Temple or the Argonian savages. This stationary war has been costly for House Dres, and some militia forces were relieved from active duty for the time being.

The Dunmer presence on the eastern waters is about to waver. The lizardmen have built fully operational ships! Even the battle hardened remnants of the Dres navy won't stand against this new force. The responsibility for the waters go now to the more powerful House Telvanni and its astonishing military presence in Morrowind, rumoured to even compete with the strongest nations in Tamriel.

In Elsweyr, the orcs of the once Bosmer forests continue their long and daring march through the desert sands. An offer of war and battles was offered to them by the Altmer, but it was soon betrayed once the High Elves signed their peace with the Empire and its vassal. It is the wish of the orcs to seek out their distant kin in Wrothgar, who would certainly provide them a new meaning in the wars of Tamriel. Many offers of gold have been offered to the wandering orcs, both from Elves and Khajits alike, for they seek allies in their wars.

It is well known within the orcs that the residents of Summerset Isle for long have driven the Bosmer from their forests, and slaughtered countless of their own kin, or so it seems like to the orcs. It was first the nation of Anequina who requested the orcs for their assistance, for they are concerned about the new power of the Elves. This was quickly followed by new emissaries, who introduced themselves to be servants of the Kingdom of Pelletine. Both times the orcs heard that the Bosmer are still fighting on, not giving in to the terror of the enemy. While this has gained their respect, the orcs do not intend to fight against Elves again, for they have proven to be devious and dismissive of such virtues as honor and courage. This is not our war, so we will not fight it.

The Khajit kingdoms, even after the refusal of the wandering orcs, have still let them walk through the deserts to hopefully find a way to reach Wrothgar. This kindness is rare in current times, and the orcs are somewhat grateful for it. What they will do after reaching the other end of Elsweyr, they do not know. However, as their long march reaches further, it will become clearer than ever that the one thing still standing in their way is The Imperial City itself. Every day the army grows more restless, for the chieftains can not restrain the whole lenght of the forces at once. Small conflicts between the orcs and the Khajit locals have already happened in small villages and outposts, and the patience of the two Kingdoms is truly at a test. Who knows what deeds and orc is eager to do when the barren wastelands turn into rich Imperial countryside....
