Units received from a mission may not be used in a battle the turn that they are received
You must disband all units that you receive from missions.

Honestly, I think anyone taking over them would be pretty pointless. Firstly, we need to be faster, and giving a 3-settlements (soon to be perhaps only 1) to a player would have little effect, when almost everyone is playing two relatively powerful factions. And the way it turned out "Colovia" and "Empire" are merged due to recent RP events, both of them are relatively weak, and Empire is no empire anymore, just a weak vassal to to Colovia...
