With the previous strike of House Redoran , the first army of Skyrim had been thwarted in its aim to reduce House Redoran to a thrall of the Eastern Skyrim state , had failed. Threats from the tribute temple had been received , as the warriors of Skyrim sat and thought about whether to escalate the conflict, especially when other dunmer had landed there forces on Solstice island , which the skyrim peoples had land a claim too.
A moot was called and the elderly warriors of rank looked at each other , considering the merits of what to do , tugging there long beards in thought as the eldest amongst them began to speak , the speakers beard and hair was greyed with his age but his heavy muscle frame still showed his was a warrior of the ages , as he began to speak with a deep rumbling tone.
"We have come here to discuss which way the wind is blowing" , he mused , stroking his long greying beard with one gnarled hand as he stood to speak.
"But never once in our long history had we retreated when our lands were in peril ...." , others moved themselves to speak but he held up one old hand with the calluses of long axe work which had hardened the skin .
"....and here these dunmer , reject our offers of security and furthermore , now stand on Solstice island ..what can our only response be? ...Not a step further back I say! I will not return home , without some deeds of valour have been undertaken!" , he sat down , his cold blue eyes focusing on the other warriors who ranged from middle-aged to those in the winter of there life, as they now sat in silence considering his words.
"Let Arkay have his fill of us , then ..." , spoke one of the other elders picking up his doubled bladed axe,and walked over, kicking members of his own company awake ,to motivate them to attack the capital of House Redoran . Others seeing the move, and without a good alternative answer in the cold wastes of the north, began to follow suit , as one after another they began to drift over to join the slowly gathering stream of warriors moving eastwards to make one last effort against House Redoran before the cold of winter came in full.

The crown of clans , await the tribute from the Forebears for there effort in supporting there attack on the undead town , deep in the desert . The king of the crowned notes there is some newcomers to the lands , as the altmeri dominion has stepped into the main landmass, as is noticed by the council prompting the release of a diplomat to greet these newcomers and to work out there intentions.

Both the High Queen and Jorunn both swear they have had enough of the madness of the problems of dealing with the various Dunmer houses , and are more motivated for home defence before they look to other more distance horizons , despite the landings of dunmer on Solstice, which is only spoke of in whispered tones in the halls of Winterhold...
