    Default Wrong clocks on my 7800GS AGP

    On Rivatuner it says my core clock is 275 and it said on newegg it was 400
    and my memory clock is 600 and it said on newegg 1250 did i install the card wrong please help!?

    Probably because it's 2D clocks instead of 3D clocks. Turn on hardware monitoring and play a game, then you'll see it go up to normal 3D clocks.

    Well it went up to 400 on my core clock and still 600 for my memory :&=(

    Well 400 is normal for my core clock but my memory clock is still way off

    I've had the same "problem", and rivatuner shows my core clock at 400 (correct) but it shows my memory clock at 625 (incorrect). For some reason it displays the memory clock as half the actual value and I don't know why. So don't worry about it. I use the nvidia control panel via Coolbits 2 for overclocking my 7800GS AGP.

    the memory clock suppose to be taken as X2 the value shown.

    Well yeah that's what I eventually figured out. I don't know why it does that though.

    It's dual channel ram, so it's x2. I think there is an option in there that shows the memory speeds as DDR, check that and it will be shown as 1200 instead of 600.
