There's the question. Its got around 2/3s of its disk space left, got M2TW and another 700MB game also. Not too much else, just the usual.
What can I do?

What's your full spec, and when exactly is your PC slow, ie loading screens, battles?
Intel Pentium 4 CPU 3.2GHz
512MB RAM
Radeon X300/550 series
And its just randomly slow. When I had Oblivion it was pretty slow loading the internet, games etc, often even normal programs.
thats like mine exact an mine is fine on medium n some high graphics :hmmm:
show full specs n do you have latest directx

ehm.... its obviously your Memory that cause your issue.. uppgrade your RAM and then you would get along better ..
Ram could be your problem here not 100% sure, 1gb would be better running.
How would I change it? Buy a new chip or something? I have no experience inside my PC, all I know is the thing on the front turns it on.
Try and Google "CCleaner" (not a typo) and download the free version of it. It will clean out your internet cache registry. This is where your PC stores all the places you've been on the internet. Between my wife and I we can collect up to 250megs every one or two days. That's a significant amount when you're playing a game that requires a ton of resources to run.
Don't be scared of your PC, it's just a machine...though touchy and cocky sometimes

Maybe it isn't slow, maybe you are just too fast...
I'd recommend 1gig Ram, as its one of the cheaper upgrades and is noticeably faster, as it was for Oblivion on my comp.
It could also be virus' etc, or a clogged registry or something. Try diagnostic programs/removal software on PC magazine cds. Even Microsoft malicious software removal may be useful.
EDIT- changing ram is the easiest upgrade, too. crack open the case and on the motherboard you'll see three or four 'slots' for the RAM. As you have 512mb it'll be one or two sticks taking up slots. Just insert your new ram into the slot. Check you manual for the memory type you need! its a jungle out there...

Under the patronage of Nihil. So there.
Scan for virus/spyware, download spybot and adaware if you haven't already, defrag your hard drive, and use CCleaner.

Just get more RAM. I assume you are using Windows XP which sure runs with 512mb RAM doesn't perform that well when you are using any memory hogging programs.
Get hijackthis and post the scan result.
Too many background processes can severely slow down your computer.
Also run an antivirus and spyware scan.
