Compatability mode and kingdoms.exe

Compatability mode set in the kingdomes.exe file for Windows XP is this right.? I have Win 7 16Gb RAM. ( i have applied the patch -with-no-name to the file)

Game runs OK but just curious if I have the wrong setting.

Should I uncheck the box?

No, it should be Compatibility Mode for Windows 7.

I urge you not to play in compatibility mode actually, the passing of turns is a A LOT slower with it on (which is a shame as the team managed to speed it up nicely for 2.3), and I've found that EB2 is now perfectly stable even without running on compatibility mode!

If you have Windows 7, don't use any compatibility modes. If it's Windows 10, try it without a mode setting and see how stable things are (just be sure to save frequently). My Win7 campaigns can go on for multiple 100s of turns without any issues, but Win10 is more problematic (I test using both systems).
