    so, i have the same problem like arnyboy: the grand campaign doesn't start.

    and i started the unpacker and the readme says i have to construct a .batch file. how can i do this?

    EDIT: i dont find the geography files i have to delete and i created a.bat file now and when i start ist i can see it a few seconds and then it's away again and nothing happens.
    can anyone help me?

    I am creating a Burgundy faction using this thread and would like Marseille to be a rebel town. How do I change it from French to Rebel?

    You need to give that town to the rebels. You must also remove any of your units that are there as well. Just find out what the cords are for that town, ie x, y.

    Move your cursor over the town and just hit the "~" key and type "show_cursorstat" and it will give you the cords. Go back into descr_strat.txt and see if you have a general and/or units at that settlement and delete or move them to another spot in your region.

    Easiest thing to do is to add sub_faction france before the French general's name that is currently garrisoned in Marseille and cut and paste the entry to the slave entries at the bottom.

    Yeah that's what I was doing. I found out what's wrong now, I had done what you said but forgotten to take out the general from the French section.

    no it's happened again heres my descr_strat c if anything is wrong with the family:

    All of your names, except Wolfgang, are not in the descr_names.txt unless you added them. That could be your problem. Take a look at your system.log.txt

    That solved the problem but I have done a bit more modding but now it says something about something missing in the fe_faction_units file

    Well, I made a new faction using normans and it works perfecly on the campaign however I can't fight battles on battlemap. It load up fine but after 1-2 seconds I am having a message like M2TW has encountered an unspecified error and needs to close. Any ideas?

    when you unpack the files two files need to be deleted they are in the data file, go into ur data hit ctrl+f and put and select all files and folders and put in geography and they should appear there should only be two and just simplyly delete them

    Brilliant. But I am having a problem. I have done everything that is on your tutorial, but my problem is not an error. If anything, it's the complete opposite. When I play as the Normans in the Main Campaign, they are the same color as the English (Red and Yellow), although I changed them to be solid Purple, there is no Campaign description, even though I wrote one for them, they are still called the "Normans", even though I changed the things in "expanded.txt", the units I added are not showing up, and my Faction leader's name is... well, he doesn't. He has no name although I named him "Clovis". Oh, yeah, I forgot, the princess also is a no show, even though I added her. I NEED HELP!
    Armaments, Chapter Two, Verses Nine to Twenty-One:
