    Konstantin I
The other 2 were Irish factions - McCarthy and O'Brien (black and Cream colours on Ireland map).

Sure I could extend more but the main emphasis here is really mainland Britain. The extension for the Orkneys (or part of them) would simply be to allow vanilla Britannia to be played on a bigger map. I've no plan to increase France though. Its there to allow the possibility of a French intervention rather than being a pivotal role in the game.

Non playable factions are the House of Canmore and the House of Plantagenet.

Which factions? If you mean the Irish ones then yes. If you don't then no.

    Haha.

Wow, the radar map is insane. Many factions in sight, psychedelic delight!

What size is your map_heights.tga, wilddog?

    Hey Wilddog,

I noticed one of your faction coat of arms that looked like William Marshal's and also your signature looks like the marshal, is he in the game for one of the factions?

Sorry but no as he died 60 years before the game starts. You are right though the same coat of arms was used by Roger Bigod 4th Earl of Norfolk ( who's mother was Maud/Matilda Marshall and who is also dead) and I assumed that it was still used by Roger Bigod 5th Earl of Norfolk (who was nephew to the 4th) who is in the game.

I eagerly await the release. The idea of being able to step in as Edmund of Almain and impose my Cornish will upon the rest of the isles is darn appealing!

Cornwall is one of the richest factions and is pretty safe as all the regions are all together. However its downside is that the only true family members are Edmund and his brother with no kids in the pipeline. If you manage to have the kids and one of you survive until they grow up then you'll have a good chance. On the other hand do anything rash and lose your leaders then its all over for the House of Cornwall .... but its "good to be the king" ..... .

    Happy New Year!

@Wilddog - your mod progressed very well ... and i think that you have to open a Princes, Kings and Heroes sub-forum in Hosted Modifications section ... if it is possible?

@Konstantin - Happy new year also.

I'll have to see about asking for a subforum. Unfortunately though things will probably slow down a bit as I return to work.

Thats the idea. I've been a bit busy amending EDB and EDU today (having decided to take a few days extra holiday to work on the mod).
