Some peasants and noblemen, possibly Polish, have taken arms and rallied in the way of the Crusaders. Their small force, some miles west of Krakow, however is of no concern to the men of God. How would they ever dare to attack a bigger force, sanctified by The Pope himself?
Although their intentions are not clear, the remaining soldiers of Scotland will take an alternate rout to Hungary, for it would be a shame to slaughter more fellow Christians, especially now.

Terrible turn of events took place. Genoa's crusading has been split into two parts by very cunning and agile Seljucks cavalery.
Seljucks might have best in the Europe at the moment and they has proven it yet again. The bigger part of Genoa's army lead by Consul Giacomo himself has been surrounded
and atacked from all sides by Seljucks forces and very few manage to escape. The smaller part of Genoa's forces lead by Consul's brother made a retreat
towards a coastline to regroup and gather more forces to continue crusade. On the way to coastline more troops were fought by Genoa's crusader. on of the armys
turned of to be Greece one, mistakenly taken for the Seljucks forces. The emisary was sent to Greece Emperor with apology and some recompense.

Iaroslav is dead and with him those ambitions that would've weakened the Rus. Andrei, the new Veliky Knyaz, had been overseeing his forces at Caffa when the news came in. Andrei was saddened but knew this was for the better. Iaroslav had been a weak ruler and his policies had seen defeat after defeat been thrown at the Rus' feet. It was time for a change. Time to focus on Russia's interests. Let the Catholics fight their own battles. Andrei set out for Novgorod. For home. He had work to do.
