You can, but keep in mind that most of the buildings you can destroy (because you can't destroy military buildings, not a rule, it's moded in) are economic buildings. You'll loose more in the long run than you gain in the short run.

    I. - A War Between Brothers

When Robert Curthose, son of William The Conqueror went on the first crusade, he mortgaged his duchy, Normandy to his brother, William II of England. Poor, but victorious on the crusade, he returned to Albion in 1100, only to find that his younger brother Henry, has seized the crown for himself just after the death of the previous king. After not being able to become a king yet again, because he had no lands, money, or support, and despite him being the eldest son of his famous father, he claimed the throne and invaded England 1101. However, due to the people and church supporting Henry, he was not successful. Robert renounced his claim and returned to Normandy. But, tensions are rising once again, and Robert demands all of Normandy for himself with an elite force consisting of fresh recruits as well as veteran troops from the crusade. What will the King of England do?

    Possible choices:

    - The King of England does not tolerate demands like this, even when a family member makes them. Declare war on Robert and invade Normandy!

Robert Curthose attacks and takes Caen, sacking it and then defends it will his last breath.

    - Robert takes only what is his by right. Accept the demands!
All of the forces in Caen have to leave the settlement by next turn. After that, the forces or Robert occupies the settlement, disbanding half his troops, and making an admin enforced NaP with England for 10 turns. After that, the Duchy of Normandy will become a rebel country. (The Duchy of Normandy will work as Vilnius, Riga, etc...)

(The decision will be made by ArBo, in private)

Henry, the King of England has accepted his brothers demands. As of next year, the Duchy of Normandy is independent, and has a new leader, Duke Robert II. The english general Beamount will leave with the garrion, and peacefully give Caen to Robert. A 5 year non-aggression pact was also agreed upon. When entering the castle Robert II will disband half his army, and give them land in Normandy.

    A note:
The stack in Stettin was wrongfully placed there. The rebel army will be a HRE rebel, so it will no longer protect Stettin, but march against Imperial soldiers. Sorry Captainnorway.

His holiness the Pope requests the help of his fellow followers. The previous crusade costed the state the majority of it's treasury . He requests to everyone able to help the church to send any sum of money to refill the church's treasury for future conflicts and events. This act will be rewarded in the future to everyone who donates.

King Edgar has recieved a message from Denmark, and has accepted the terms. We will divide up Ireland, Scots on the Eastern side, and Danes on the West. The English have also requested trade rights in demand for some gold. We had a decent year and can afford to spare it, also trade between our people could lead to stronger relations with our Southern neighbors. But as they packed up the wagons they also packed another to the side to be shipped to the Pope. The voyage will be far but his Holiness requires aide from fellow Christians.

    Venice

The Establishment of The Venetian Bank
Doge Ordelafo in his personal workplace writes on a parchment containing the writings of his upcoming announcement of La Banca Veneziana which will be historically renowned for being a national bank unhindered by threats or any one specific kingdom other than its own.

The writings on the parchment speaks for its own as Doge Ordelafo writes - As some citizens throughout Venice's holdings and Venice itself has heard rumors of the establishment of La Banca Veneziana I furthermore confirm that this one rumor is true and ask with much emotion to the people to hold their opinions until the following reasons are said for why this decision has been made. Furthermore La Repubblica di Venezia establishes La Banca Veneziana to at a great effect improve relations with European powers at best and furthermore expand our large treasury to a more productive expanse. La Banca Veneziana's responsibilities will be to hold a large sum of gold and establish clients for them to furthermore request a loan from the amount of 1k-10k in gold, the clients will at most have a contract leading up to a certain time to where they can choose to whether renew their contract. The contracts established with other kingdoms will not be at a free cost for countries for at the current time will have to invest 2.5k to have up to a ten turn contract. There will be a planning period for La Banca Veneziana that will take up the opinions of other countries and "polish" the terms and rules to the bank that can take up 2-5 turns and no longer unless by emergency also during this time La Repubblica di Venezia will decide itself to what clients they would personally like to continue their contracts and to who to discontinue.

Clients will be accepted based on their situation, economy, military, and position on matters and whether they are "reliable", La Banca Veneziana is established not for the personal use of any one country it is made to more than one and is to not be considered as a pocket to cash in with. The bank may choose by interest or probable cause to drop any client when needed and is not "forced" by any one kingdom to pay or loan anything unless obliged or promised for the guidelines of La Banca Veneziana is made to be influenced by other countries. The bank is not commended to the people and more of the overall kingdom of the people for it is a bank for a large sum and not commended for the common folk or the rich. The Venetian Doge continues to write furthermore explaining the concept and the point being that it is made for the kingdoms of Europe and not the citizens of itself and that it has have had further approval from the papal.

Doge Ordelafo finishes up his writings as the lit candle on the table became to dim and he filled in his signatures walking out his door handing letters to his messengers proclaiming offers to the kingdoms of Sicily, Papal, and France of ten turn contracts free of charge for La Banca Veneziana also regarding to encourage other kingdoms to request a contract with the bank.

Meanwhile Simon Faliero son of Doge Ordelafo continues to work in the holy lands furthermore scouting and clearing any rebels on the roads that could furthermore cause harm to caravans or travelers. He furthermore establishes base in a Venetian Fortification in the good neighbored Sicilians land killing any rebels that plan to do harm and tread into the holy lands. He arrives in his quarters armor dropped at the local blacksmith and weapon placed on a plaque in his room and begins to sit down writing first to his father. Simon says in his letter encouraging the Venetian Doge to become more involved in the holy lands proposing that he sends a force for him to establish a holding in the holy lands and clean the rebel scum from the lands. Simon then writes to the Sicilian neighbors that they will represent the Venetians in the current diplomacy with the Sejuk's in the holy lands as they should act according to the rebels and other whatnot. Simon sleeps with ease with a strain on his mind hoping that he made a good decision with Sicily rather than awaiting for a reply from his father on the current situation.

While late night in the sea a Venetian Diplomat from the holy lands sail to arrive in Egypt to talk about their plans and the current view on daily situations also to see if they can come to an understanding for the northern holy lands. The sailors worry that Egypt will see them as an immediate threat and be executed by disembark but the captain calms them that this is a peace mission and every kingdom has its wits to what they should allow.

    Next is Russia

I will talk more about the Venetian bank in a later post explaining more and fix anything with the opinions and questions I receive so feel free to let me know what you think I will try my best to make it work even if I do become at war with someone.

Senior Zbigniew is besieging Stettin,he sees the big cold walls and he knows this will be the battle of his life, he never had a battle outside of training. He only learnt combat from tacticians and swordsman.Boleslaw trusts him, he
outnumbers the rebel scum by a lot. King Boleslaw hopes he will return safely to him and meet him again.

Thorn is building up it's ports and now has trade with the Danes and our Russian allies. King Boleslaw is really happy to announce that with these trades he is able to support the almighty pope.
Let's hope sending our caravans to the Papal states will benefit us in the future..

King Boleslaw is also happy to announce that he signed a non-agression pact with the Holy Roman emperor we will aid them in battle against our common enemy the rebels. Our swords will never colide, just help eachother in battle.
We are in good Terms with our hungarian brothers too. „Polak, Węgier, dwa bratanki, i do szabli, i do szklanki.” - Lengyel, magyar – két jó barát, együtt harcol, s issza borát.” Poland and hungary two good friends, fights together and drinks his wine.
But we are even more happy to announce that we have made an alliance with our slavic brothers the russians. Who we are really happy we got to be at peace with.

King Kalman the Falcon and Protector of Hungary is pleased to share with the realm, that peace has been achieved. Hungary's various neighbors have agreed to peace, which will hopefully lead to a brighter future.

Various rebellions have sprung up across the lands and are unacceptable in the king's eye. Knowing this, Gyula, the Duke of Belgrade, ventured forth to crush a major revolt in his lands. Gyula positioned his men at the top of a steep hill, neighboring a mountain. From there he commanded his archers to pepper the peasants and man at arms who composed of this rag tag army. There were a few knights who charged forth, but they were focused down by the archers. Fewer than half of the enemy managed to scale the hill to engaged Gyula's viscious axmen. With a charge from the rear, Gyula's bodyguard managed to snap the enemy's resolve like a dried twig. With this victory, Gyula would be seen in a new light, as both a stronger general from his men, and as a better man from his king. The surviving rebel force dispersed quickly, but continued moving east.

Whispers on the wind tell of a faithless man, who commands the respect and admiration of is men. He serves no higher king, for that commoners flock to his banner. Marton, the Duke of Bran sighed heavily. He feared his liege's wrath should this rebel continue to march closer, yet knew he had not the man power to repel him if the rumors held true... They say he stands seven feet tall, and commands a legion of four-thousand strong... HOW? How can a man stand against such reckless hate...?

Few may realize it, but King Kalman is in fact very smart. His dealings with infrastructure and economics have refined his thinking and sharpened his wit. He knows that the great city of Venice is the heart of the Mediterranean, just Rome is the heart of Christendom. That being said, Kalman believes that an investment into the merchant's bank will hold many benefits, both to relations, and his own coffers.

It was with pain in his heart that Robert de Beaumont left the castle of Caen, his men trailing behind him, their heads high, yet their mood grim. As he saw the contours of his home fade behind him, he again wished his King would have listened to him. When Robert Curthose had made his ultimatum, Beaumont had laughed it away, never expecting his liege to give in to these demands. Had it been up to him, he and his elite soldiers would have stayed behind, fought, and won. But Henry could not be swayed - he thought Caen impossible to hold against Robert and didn't want to lose many of his most well-trained and battle-hardened troops in its defense. Never one to go against what he was ordered to do, Beaumont gathered his men and convinced them to follow him to England, abandoning Normandy.

In the mean time, Henry's rush to Caernarvon seemed to have paid off. While slightly outnumbered, any of his men would best any of the besieged rebels in even combat, and he worried little about a possible sally-out. After having to abandon Caen, Henry wished even more for a new castle, and Caernarvon seemed ripe for the taking.

The Castle of Gallway fell in the winter months of 1106. Quite simply, the natives could not face the wrath of adventuring Norsemen, attacking with ladders, axes and battlecries to resemble the Vikings of old. The defenders were outnumbered by over two to one, and frankly, demoralized even as their enemies scaled the walls. The ramparts fell quickly, and while the defenders took some with them, it did not take long for the Norsemen to send the defenders fleeing. In some act of mercy, they did not hunt down the last defenders as they scattered after the courageous bulk of the defenses were crushed. Perhaps it wasn't mercy, only satisfaction that the wee Irishmen turned tail and run.

Either way, it was a short battle that took only the better part of the day, and the place was stripped of valuables overnight. By morning, Danish flags could be seen from the countryside. Logmaor styled himself ruler of Ireland for a time, before remembering of the deal that split Ireland. But it was no matter. He had his victory, and it was not long before he took the bulk of his troops to approach a countryside fort to eliminate one of the last remaining bastions of local resistance. He makes an offer to the pitiful Irishmen residing in the middle of the little country - abandon the fort with your lives, or be destroyed to the last man.

Seasoned Danishmen reluctantly left two forts in the north of Scotland to the hands of servants. The third remains populated, with the men unwilling to leave lands that their fathers had claimed as their own.

King Niels has sent a dignitary down to secure an era of peace and trade with the German states below, at least for his lifetime. He has received word of the Venetian bank, and has decided to do absolutely nothing. Such an investment may pose risks, especially in regards to neutrality. While he hasn't voiced his concerns, he has not voiced support.

    Onto the Sicilians,
