The french prince having received no answers to his questions wether england was pressing the crusade, turned his party around, and withdrew southwards hoping to reach the french territory within the next seasons, and dreaming of food that had been prepared correctly. The diplomat train bearing the gold to the pope, moved into genoa, with little issue, and hopes to complete his mission successfully soon.

Great victory at Smyrna, Sultan Muhammad defeated and cornered King Roger who has no help and nowhere to go now. (the outside army couldn't get inside because of full garrison.)
