We have had very productive talks with His Holiness, and urge all Catholic factions to confirm their loyalty towards Him as he will deal with many of the issues that have long infested our Church. England will set the example by contributing over 10% of our net income to the workings of the Church, and by sending a peace-keeping fleet over to the Baltics.
We also want to stress our claim on Marseille. After defeating their garrison on the field, we are to take the settlement. We are looking forward to launching our famous English merchandise on the Mediterranean market.

It seems there were still major problems with organizing the crusade to helpout the holy city of jerusalem , the english now contributing monies to the papal campaign , whilst they expanded there kingdom heading for Marseilles , making themself's the major power in Europe . There was however little unity within europe themselfs , with several conflicts raging and the pope's call for money proved more derisive rather than cohesive in the possibility of a crusade.

For the pope's call for finances , and the french state being in debt , they again cut there army strength, and had again to reduce there tax levels, as the current state of war between themself's and the english state [it hadnt been secured diplomatically although there was a current state of peace] , it had been not made official , and the current english garrison in one of the french terrority's , was forcing major public order difficulties , as the english garrison raided the french merchants that hoped to travel into europe proper to trade. A diplomat was sent to the mighty english state, asking to at least, make the peace official , so that they could raise there tax's and that the english troopers, cease there raiding of french mercantile caravans hoping to use the main road routes.

Likewise the Jerusalem garrison public disorder, was high with the recent turkish gains , as the two turkish armies raided , the countryside , forcing the state of jerusalem to rockbottom tax levies, to keep their people reasonably happy in the current state of war. With the lowering of tax's , the Garrison of Jerusalem was cut , with some archer companies being disbanded, as they hoped to pay for there own troops. There was little hope within this most important of cities, as they waited for the end , of Christian rule in the holy land.

Endless caravans and cargo ships have been arriving over the recent set of months, bringing food and goods, coming with pilgrims and soldiers but most importantly: All of the Major Kingdoms have sent their monetary tribute
to the Holy See and in return papal envoys are starting to pack up and bring message. Even the scottish bishop dispatched by King Etgar has been very friendly and faithful. Attending his Sunday Service was a Joy.

Its fate now lies between the catholic kingdoms, it once was a part off, in the west and the Muslim infidels from the east.

The Holy Roman Emperor, the King of England any many others have been very accepting of the papal decree and offered much more to the Popes satisfaction. A lot of blessed contestants that one might consider to name *Defender of the Catholic Faith*.

Yet, whispers in the east speak of the Polish King having gone mad. Possessed. Their military conquest of another catholic Kingdom will not be unmentioned and retaliation by the church may follow if he does not refrain from attacking his fellow Danish children to God. Sinners! Traitors to god if they do not change in course. Such stressful times call for prayers in the city's St. Peter's Basilica and military drilling afterwards to perform those.

Word traveled from the East that the Hungarians were offering coin and troops for the crusade. King Etgar sent a letter to the Pope, and his generals, that Scotland would be rescinding its excommunication request on Hungary. The same night he wrote a letter to the King of Poland, offering to mediate an end to their war, and if a deal could be made, we would rescind their request as well. They were also warned that any further violence against the Danes will not help the world's view of them, especially the Pope.
