Pope Gaitanus seemed discontent upon recieving the news out of the Polish Kingdom.
The Scottish did not upheld their promises made and instead endeavored to further destabilize
our alliance of petty kingdoms. This will have significant bearing to the scottish reputation
in Europe as the news of this slowly spreads, even among the common people. In the face of this action,
Pope Gaitanus has decided to allow the polish occupation of Stettin through bribing efforts and legitimize it,
therefor the duchy finally returns into into its de jure kingdom.

The next messenger makes his way to the Pope. He brings news of the front in the east:

"A decisive victory has been achived in the Mediterranean Sea, my lord", he starts:
"Absolutely dishearted by the blockaded port and seeing the remains of the geonese fleet
and soldier being stranded to shore, the soldiers ontop of the castle of Rhodes were. Until a great
white fleet of war galleys wearing the sign of the cross appeared. Admiral Ugolinus has made his way
to break the blockade. Suprised by our greater numbers and godly protected appearance, the coalition
of fatimid and seljuk galleys, if you can call them that, have hastingly formed battlelines but their
flanks have already been crushed and the sound of retreat was singing through the wind, accompanied by
the cheering of our crusaders and geonese bowman on the shores watching the spectacle. Many heretics
have lost their lives and their remains will eventually be flooded back to were they came from, hopefully
bringing gods punishment in form of disease."

The spirit of Scottish men might not be as strong as we are led to believe, for a large portion of soldiers, with their captain have abandoned the fight against the enemy of all Christendom. Thousands of Scotsmen gave their lives to defend the unity of all Catholics, but these deeds have fallen to deaf ears.

Even now the combined forces of England and Scotland march on to help with the annihilation of the Turkish presence in Hungary, while the new Polish king has done nothing but lick his wounds and complained about the state of his Kingdom, caused by the previous tyrant on the throne. Dear lord, what is this madness you have allowed your subjects fall into. Why is your messenger The Pope acting in favor of these warmongers?
