Game Launcher

Hello,
I installed the game several weeks ago and I was playing with Ptolemaioi.
Now, weeks later, I tried to play again: Now the launcher does not start the exe file in my new Steams folder, but in the original one.
Why did the game launcher change this? I cannot start the mod anymore now.
I did not install, change anything. I haven't playing any game for 2-3 weeks now.

No idea why it would suddenly point to another location, but it should be an easy fix to edit the launcher icon so it points to the correct folder.

How exactly can that be done?
I think, I did not make the new folder in steam to my main folder of steam and because of this it did not work. I tried to do this, but without installing the mod again, it does not work so far.

Right click the icon and choose "properties". That will open a window which shows which directory (and file) the icon is pointing at. Change the path to match the actual location of the launch.bat file.

No, the path there is the wright one in my file (in properties), however when I start by clicking the button the new window of the launcher opens and shows me the wrong old path to my thirst steam path.
I dont know why this happened, however I cannot play (I think at least) because of this! Is there any help for this problem?
