    How many levels of settlement growth are implementable in M2TW?

    You mean the core_buildings, village, town, large_town ect ? I think I have read among hardcoded limits that you can't create new levels for these buildings? To confirm. You can find the list of core_buildings and core_castle_building at the beginning of export_descr_building. So it would make 6 levels if you want to use one, 12 for both? But you can't merge them or add new levels if I am right.

    6 for cities: from village to huge:city
    5 for castles: from mott&bailey to citadel
    1 watchtower
    1 fort

    in descr_cultures it's hardcoded, no place for further settlements.

    Yeah, the number of core building levels are hard coded.

    It may be irrelevant with this,but I want to ask:In a couple of text files there are traces of something called "star fort". What is it?

    No one is really sure, but that feature is not implemented. Most bets are on a fort upgrade, like it got implemented in ET.

    Ports are hard coded as well, they are kind of core buildings, too.

    All other trees (max 128 total) can have nine levels each.

    i find out about Star Fort - it must be a 6-level of castle , but creators find out it too much and hard coded 5 levels ...and i almost added it in EDB it works but not in descr_cultures game crushes

    Ah ok good to know, at least trying the star fort was needed to see the reaction.
