Such a shame. Both the images here and the images for the new units on Twitter never bother to display the secondary weapons of all of the units.

A minor complaint but the well-crafted weapons needs some love too!

Not to mention the certain units with additional armor slots. Seeing the celtic nobles clad in metal helmets and armor is great.

Then maybe you can give an example which units actually look ugly?

    Quick, get the Troll Hammer!
I recommend a pugio rather than a spear, because in close quarters combat, a dagger will serve you better than a spear.

Well, this game is over ten years old and its vanilla units sometimes have horrendously awful looking faces. Those facts considered, EBII ain't so bad for what it is. Otherwise, you should be more specific about which units you find to be visually unappealing.

tbqh, there is one issue with one unit like the Zibutai because for some reason they have glowing helmets.

Even the older unit models (like the Thureophoroi and Machairaphoroi) are really great looking while being historical at the same time.

The only problem is that they really clash with the newer models. The brightly colored Hoplitai vs the dirty and dull colors of the Hoplitai Haploi and Hemithorakitai.

In that particular instance I'm not seeing such a great issue - they're from different social strata, different levels of wealth. They should look different.
