Faction Re-Emergence
Loving 2.3, works perfectly ( except for those custom settlemente) for mac, I only have a couple questions:
How does this feature work? What factions re-emerge? Is it possible to a faction to re-emerge more than once? How does hording work and what factions horde?

Re: Faction Re-Emergence
In the starting factional capitals, plus for some factions, another place of significance, once a faction is "dead" they may return in one of those places. It takes a revolt in that place to trigger the mechanics, so instead of going Rebel, that faction is respawned.
All the factions which can't horde can re-emerge. There's no limitation to how many times it can happen. Hording is a different mechanic. When a nomadic faction is killed, they spawn a new family tree with a bunch of stacks and can go wandering in search of a new home.

Re: Faction Re-Emergence
What happens if a faction "dies" as a result of a revolt within them? For example, in my Romani campaign Macedon "died" as a result of Pella (their only settlement) revolted to rebels...Can Macedon re-emerge?
