Battle Replays

Hi all,

I'm in the process on working on a new, immersive and well-narrated Let's Play for a campaign as the Pritanoi. However, I'm running into a bit of a problem.

I've saved replays of the campaign battles I've fought as .rpy using the console, but they won't load for me using the game client. I suspect I might be able to load them with the cinematic editor, but the documentation for this tool is very esoteric and the tutorial videos on youtube have all been taken down. I am left scratching my head as to how to go about this; I can see from the trailers that replays can be saved in EBII, but can this be done using .rpys from campaign battles?

Replays saved from the campaign can be bugged or corrupted sometimes, but usually you should be able to load them at least, a full tutorial seris on the cine-ed you can still find here on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HW4o0_cTbNo

I've configured cine-edit to run with EB2 as far as I can tell in regards to following the instructions, but it still refuses to load.

I dont have the latest release version installed at the moment, so cant test those files. Have you tried saving a battle replay from a regular custom battle, if those load fine its probably something faulty with campaign replays, not sure what could be done about it in that case..

If you happen to find a way of loading campaign battle replays, I'd be grateful if you could post the solution. Also, I'd be interested in watching these Let's Plays :-)
