Unlimited men on battlefield

I am sure to have read somewhere that there is a away to get unlimited men on battlefield, I think it is by changing the ebii.cfg AND the Medieval 2Total war preferences file, any idea where this 2 files are? I am on a Mac, steam version

unlimited_men_on_battlefield = 1

However, that won't allow you to get around the hardcoded UI limit of controlling 20 units at once. You can only have more than 20 units on your side if you allow the AI to control them.

Go into your directory, they are in your preferences folder laddie left click on this pic to enlarge. You just change 0 to 1

Thank you Saul! But since I'm in a Mac (steam, EB2.3 working perfectly) I can`t find them in that directory...perhaps Caymus can enlighten me and other Mac users

MacOS hides your user library by default but you can get there easily by selecting the "Go" option in the finder menu while holding down the alt/option key. You will also find your saved games folder in:


/Users/(yourusername)/Library/Application Support/Feral Interactive/Medieval II Total War/VFS/Local/mods/EBII/saves
