Witches - wheir are they?

I saw them also, just assasinated an ugly one half an hour ago

Their clothes have almost the same colours as trees / woods, so if they are there you can hardly notice them. Keep your eyes open

ive seen a few, but as said above, they are hard to see. also, they get squished by inquisitors pretty quickly.

i loved them, good for lvling priest...

but they don't pop up easily,
i think maybe the cities heretic rating are too low...

I've had 2 or 3...one of them killed the priest who was supposed to kill her

They can have some sort of "Magic Broom" trait actually, it increases their movement points.

i saw one near Durazzo which had 1% heretisim

but somehow i never saw a witch near Ajacio which was 90% heretic

Yes.

But yea, they won't pop up in provinces with like 100% catholic.

Once i tried to make witch curse my general but those 1 crystal ball witches can't cast a single curse

- he burned minutes later...

forgive me for the thread hijacking, but I didn't feel this to be too worthy of a new thread entirely but..

has anyone seen a muslim heretic or an orthodox heretic for the matter? Or are all heretics the same skin (just the dirty ragged clothed guy with the cross?)

I find witches easier to execute than heretics.

Most, if it not all, chances were at 95%. The reason they are rare is because other religious agents probably got to them first.

I think you can still get heretics even if your province is at 100% religion because I've seen them pop up before.

I find it interesting that the governing attribute for witches is "Magic".

All witches I have seen so far have 0 magic, with this comment: "If she ever had any arcane power, she shows no signs of it now"

I have to wonder how this attribute is increased (I guess by cursing people and killing the priests who come to kill her?) What would the comment say for a witch who had, say, an attribute of 7 in "magic" ?

I have sen enough of them, but really they seem really weak. I would be interesting to have a 10 "magic" witch rampaging across your empire cursing left and write killing all who oppose her, even the Pope!
