What about XP ?

I have a question about XP of single unit. There is a bronze, silver and gold XP but unit gain XP point only after first "bronze". After this statistic stops. Is there anything what can be done? In RTW XP was normal but here its bad

Gold? Ain't it first bronze, then silver and then gold?

1, 2, or 3 bronze chevrons will only boost +1 total, when you hit silver you get +2 total, and +3 at gold level. It's a way of toning down the extreme advantage of veteran troops, forcing you to rely on combined arms rather than a charge with your heroes. Also I have heard reports that ranged units appear more accurate with experience although their ranged attack values do no change. I have not confirmed this. Hope this sheds light on your confusion.
