Default Reform Requirements for Pergamon in 2.3 (and other factions)

    Hi guys,

Firstly I'd like to thank you for all your amazing efforts on the new release! Secondly, I was wondering if anyone on the team could clarify what the reform requirements are for Pergamon after the update? I suppose it would not be a bad idea to ask the same for any other relevant factions as well. Many thanks, and congratulations!

It's stickied in the Gameplay Guides and AAR subforum: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...nts-as-at-2-2r

It's for 2.2r but for the most part reform requirements haven't changed.

For Pergamon, you need to fight several battles against the Galatians (rebels) within the on-map borders of Galatia. Winning a few of these will start to piss them off and you will face a major pushback including assistance from the Galatian's allies if not subdued yet. Once they're beat back and you've fought enough major battles (6+), and also own your capital, Ephesos, Sardis, and Ipsos, you can become Basileus which is your reform.

The reforms thread is up to date, it was changed in 2.2r to the system currently used.

Sorry, based on some previous comments I was operating under the assumption that the reform requirements had changed in some way. I've recently conquered Ankyra, with minimal resistance due to a well timed attack. What will happen if I haven't fought many Galatian stacks and have taken their major settlement? Do I need to restart?

Galatian stacks will continue to spawn, taking Ankyra doesn't stop them. The counter continues, if a little slower, but the only way to hurry things along is basically conquer all of Anatolia.

Thanks very much for the response. One more thing, since I updated the game to 2.3, it has ceased to autosave, I tried deleting the last autosave in the mod files, but it doesn't appear to have resolved the situation. Any suggestions? Once again, excellent work. My faction leader, Eumenes in this campaign, is absolutely mad as a hatter, scared of the world, a blabbermouth, superstitious, yet for whatever reason, still an undisputed leader. Really adds to the flavour haha

Autosave is disabled in the config. The reason is simple: it corrupts saved games.

You can re-enable it by editing that line in EBII.cfg if you want to, but we wouldn't recommend it. Get into the habit of regularly saving.
