"Just as there is but one lord in Heaven, there ought to be but one ruler on Earth." -Tamerlane
One Ruler on Earth is a modification for Medieval II: Total War Kingdoms, featuring 30 playable factions on a massive map spanning from Mexico to Japan. The campaign begins in late 1204: the Roman Empire is left reeling in the aftermath of the Fourth Crusade, whereas Egypt is rapidly regaining control of the Levant. The shah of Khwarezm is at war with the Ghurid sultan, who still seeks to conquer the Hindu kingdoms of India, and powerful and wealthy empires establish themselves in Africa and the Americas. To the east, hostilities are about to re-emerge between the Song and Jin dynasties in China, while just north, the fierce tribes of Mongolia are being unified under the legendary Genghis Khan. The world will be changed forever—through Total War.
