CTD when launching mod

Hey folks!

I just installed EBII and can't get it running. I followed every step of the installation instructions but always get a CTD when launching the game. This does not happen while in the loading screen but when the picture of EBII shows (some seconds later). Vanilla works perfectly fine and also installed the mod twice. Maybe someone has got the same problem? Thanks.

What does your error log say? Without a log, I'm afraid we have absolutely no idea what might have happened. There are many different things that could have gone wrong and simply telling us there is a crash is not enough information.

Did you follow all the post-installation instructions for your platform?

First of all, thank you for your very quick response! After you wrote this I uninstalled the vcredist files and installed them again... aaand oh wonder, now it works. Thanks again!
