    The vanilla tables fine for me and I don't see any problems with the schemas. If you can't open the vanilla tables, something was probably incorrectly changed in your PFM files (or you're using out-of-date schemas) and I would recommend getting a re-downloading the newest schemas. If you can open the vanilla tables either the mod is uses an old table schema that I accidentally broke or the modder did something weird to the table. I can check both of the latter possibilities if you provide a copy of the mod or its source. I might also be able to provide additional information if you tell me which table schema the mod is using. The table schema version number can be obtained by opening the mod, right-clicking on the table, selecting Open->"Open DecodeTool...", and in the bottom-right there will be a line that says the table name, Version #, parsed with #. The Version # is the schema version the table claims to be using. Warhammer 2 is currently using version 19 in vanilla.

    Not sure if this is the right place to report it, but ever since the latest TW:3k patch + 8P dlc I can't do anything with the startpos.esf anymore, ESF editor opens the initial file but once you try to open any of the drop down menus you get an error.

    Generally, I'd say that is more of a topic for the general support threads since the esf editor doesn't use schemas. From my limited experience with the esf editor, I'd say that is either a problem with the new data types added last update or CA added a new data type to the esf files with the latest update that will need to be figured out. Regardless, I have added the problem to our issue tracker and will hopefully be getting to it soon though there are a few other issues I intend to address first.

    Also, to repeat what I said in the Three Kingdoms support thread:
    I'd also like to apologize for my sudden disappearance for a couple of months while in the middle of creating schemas for Three Kingdoms, I've been quite busy IRL between family obligations and looking for a job. When I have time, I'm working on finishing a tool to automatically parse schemas so I can release all the remaining ones quickly, but the time frame on that being done keeps slipping. In the meantime, I intend to release a minor patch to fix the auto-updater running on the first run regardless of the user's chosen setting and crashing PFM if it couldn't connect to the repository as well as a few schemas specifically requested of me that I promised to release if I couldn't get the bulk update done by today.

    I just updated to the latest PFM and brand new schema (v140, from 12 hours ago), but "unit_variants_colours_tables" is still red and uneditable. Does this mean that something still needs updated?

    I'm trying to find the color definitions for the new High Elf mages, and I assume that's the right place to look (correct me if I'm wrong!), but I can't open the table.

    Schemas 140 and 141 are out now. They allow for the opening of all tables that couldn't be opened after the latest Warhammer 2 patch and a few (2) 3K tables that I happened to decode while doing tech support.

    The new Warhammer 2 tables include a lot of unknown columns since the official tools aren't out yet so I don't have a reference for what all of the columns mean or whether some uniform columns were mistakenly mislabeled between (int|float) or (bool|optstring). ETA on 3K schemas being decent is still TBD since I don't currently have time to finish my automated tool for decoding tables (which I expect would take less time than doing them all by hand).

    Schema 140 wasn't announced on release since it was an in-progress schema that I released due to having to step away while half-way through decoding the schemas.

    Schema 142 is out now! It correctly labels all of the columns that I didn't have a reference for before the release of the official modding tools and corrects a few cases of confusion between optstrings and booleans where it wasn't initially clear which it was.

    I am unable to access the land_units_tables with the latest update.

    PFM keeps showing System.NullReferenceException

    I hope the new Schema comes out soon. This is probably one of the most common tables to mod, even new modders generally focus on this one and main_units_tables most of the time.

    Same thing is happening to me. I switched to RPFM and it worked there.

    I added the return after that table to the file for the next schema. It doesn't make any difference to the program, but it is slightly more readable for humans that way.

    As for the units_tables version 3, it appears identical to version 2. Also, I checked and the highest version ETW uses in vanilla is version 2. Where did you source your version 3 schema from?

    Hey people . We got febuary 2023 and guess what , unfortunately we got PFM 5,2,4 and schema 143 - and again i cant edit data pack in shogun 2.
    Can someone help me and explain why ???
    I will mention only that im doing changes in data. file since 2011 so its not my incompetence i hope. please heeeelp

    Is your problem being unable to open something, unable to make changes, or unable to save changes? I just opened the Shogun 2 data.pack and a quick glance suggests everything opens. If you are working with the data.pack directly and unable to make changes, I would recommend either copying the tables to another file to make changes or disabling the "CA Packs Are Read Only" check box in the Options drop down.

    hey im open data.pack . On the left side u got data pack folders, i go to db /unit _stats_land_tables than to subfolder Units_stats_land - in this moment i should see on the right side what this subfolder contain but in this moment pack file manager close itself without any information. Same thing with every other subfolder . PMF worked for me to the last year and now surprise. Nothing has changed but still i cant edit data. pack anymore. I allways disable read only . so its real mystery for me now. there is 1 difference , previously i had windows 7 now windows 10 but i dont thing that could be gamechanger for PFM
