Dark Elves

I keep starting over to much and ive only gotten to turn 80 like twice but both times im seeing the dark elves grow way to big. I want a faction to get that big but I dont want it to be them, so thinking of just nerfing them so they get crushed on my next play through. Is anyone else seeing the same thing?

Never had that problem with Dark Elves. Sure they never were weak or even defeated, but they never managed to become the strongest faction. Most playthroughs High Elves get really strong, if not High Elves then the Lizardmen.
