Hey folks. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems like defensive towers no longer have tiers; level 4 walls in a major settlement will still shoot arrows, when they should be shooting big blasts of magic/cannonballs/etc. I'd like to change that.

However, I'm unsure how a settlement's walls link with the siege-map walls, and where it tells the game to use one tier over another. In TWH1, for instance, the building "wh_main_emp_walls_2" has two associated effects: "wh_main_effect_defence_tower_level_hidden" and "wh_main_effect_textonly_tower_projectile_emp_2." Does the first tell the game to use a siege map, and the second tell it to use level 2 towers? Or does the 'textonly' bit mean it's just there for decoration?

If a building's effects do impact tower tiers, then how the hell does it work in TWH2? Walls in building_effects_junction_tables (or "defence" as they're called now) don't have the usual "wh_main_effect_textonly_tower_projectile_[race]_[level]"--just army abilities and a dummy-effect for flavor text.

Any help? Am I missing something?
