Will the recommended changes to the eb2.cfg file come with 2.3?

I`m referring to the autosave disable,windowed etc mode. and trace error in the log file. And anything else I`ve forgotten thats on the the 2.2 install page.

Yes, the v2.3 config file will have a number of changes, to include disabled autosave. In most cases, however, we keep the "standard" options (such as non-window mode, banners on, green triangles on) but we've added text explaining how to change them if you so desire.

Editing the CFG file yourself should be a piece of cake, simply open it with Notepad and have at it. Here are a bunch of settings.

Other examples, just make sure they are in the correct [section], create section if it doesn't exist:
