Wonderful video. How come the ottomans did not have any janissaries? Since they have Voyniks I am guessing it's more towards the end of the XIVth century.

we decide to use the Ambush soldiers like a border fight...more then a land battle, we assume that Janissary were more employed in siege and big battle not like ambush in the Anatolian hills.
regarding the Voyniks, you are right, we did not have a right unit for close the canyon and resist to the Roman trying to escaping the ambush so we need a good spear based unit and the other were a town militia more then battle or attack elite.
so we pick up that one in order to have a unit able to resist.

we use also less Nafta in order to use more bows based units and seems a less elite' ambush....we imagine more an irregular army for hide and strike.
