This is my first post at the TWC in at least four years, and it's due to the outstanding work done on Vae Victis by the team of modders. Since acquiring Rome2, I've tried several comprehensive mods, but always had varying degrees of luck, including CTDs. Having played VV some 26 hours, now, I haven't had a single problem with the mod. It functions perfectly, with no crashes, and I like the realism. I use one other mod ... the Roman Music mod ... because I enjoy the music of "Roman" movies like Ben-Hur, King of Kings, Spartacus, Gladiator, and so on. This mod causes no irregularities with VV.

Last night, I fought my longest battle, to date, for the city of Syracusae. There was only one general, whose force was established outside the city. But when I attacked, the city garrison sortied out, to do battle. The battle was won, but it took over an hour to manage.

Anyway, I would gladly recommend this mod to anyone.
