victory at Singara = CTD & query about gameplay

Hi there, just started IBFD v6.05 not long ago playing ERE. The game is great and so far relatively bugless. However, I get guaranteed CTD whenever I win at sieging Singara no matter the year; the scroll comes up with the options to occupy/enslave/exterminate and no matter what I do (even try to save) the game will crash. The year is 417.

Just wondering if anyone else gets this.

Also I I find that since v5 experience for newly trained troops is completely removed from buildings. I understand why this would be done but it does create a gameplay problem as in some cities upgrading troop buildings gives no extra benefit. The AI could be upgrading buildings that do absolutely nothing except soak up money and time.

Yes, that has already been reported but so far we have failed to find cause.My recent finds indicate IBFD script being responsible for a lot of CTDs.Try to run campaign without activating script and plz let us know the results

I normally don't use scripts but I started campaign again taking care not to use scripts this time and I still got the same result.

I haven't found a fix to this problem, but for others who also get the CTD at Singara, I found it only happens on the Sassanid's turn when they sally forth from the city and you defeat them. If the battle takes place on your turn then there's no CTD.
