    Apologies for double posting but if I add it to my last post nobody will see it.

    Anyway I've been cutting down the campaign_script until I have a version that seems to remove errors in the system log and prevents battle CTDs.
    (I can't totally eliminate them as different PCs will have different memory / GPU / monitor / graphics settings.)
    The fatal graphics error has happened once but luckily I'd saved the game just before it happened so was able to re-fight the battle, this time without the graphics error happening.
    I suspect it's to do with memory management.

    I've played 100 turns with this campaign_script, and so far it seems reasonably robust, certainly much better than the beta version.
    I had to remove the G5 really bad BAI, the named forts, assimilation script and one or two other smaller bits.
    Turns are, of course much quicker as well.

    With so many factions that can be played there's always the possibility that problems may be specific to particular factions - I was playing Ifriqua.
    (And no it's not much easier - I was always at war with my neighbors in every test run.

    So give it a try and see how it goes for you.
    Don't max out the graphics, I had mine on normal size units and reduced some of the graphics options to low.

    Quick question, after you apply the patch, if you run the set-up after to choose another period does the patch corrections remain, or are they change as a result of the re-set-up?

    Here is a thread about twelve turns per year, just adapt it to four.

    even some errors in the descr_faction_standing text file can cause crashes,sorry,i was responding too post #80 here.

    Thanks. Will it affect when events are gonna happen though? Like, are the Mongols gonna come in an earlier date which matches the turn number they were assigned to appear in?

    I was looking at faction's units in custom battle, and I noticed that the Turks do not have any Janissary... are the removed in Titanium?

    And the description of the factions says that they have Janissary...

    Titanium is set in the early era campaign, before the Janissary innovations are implemented.
    The faction description has not been updated.
    I hope we can make a full campaign eventually.

    Well, I don't know. I sacked a city for at least 30 turns ago and unrest is still 40%. And this is the first city I've taken, all other settlements that I've conquered after have same amount of unrest.

    What are the faction leader's traits?
    Is your faction excommunicated?

    Removing the unrest penalties makes for a better game.
    I got bored having to continually recapture settlements because the game was set-up to stop me keeping them.

    Traits: Faction Leader, Administratively Minded, Skilled Bureaucrat, Lame of Loin, a Sense of Justice, Relatively Health, Founder of a Royal Dynasty, Famous Victor, Dauntless, Can Tell a Tale, Marks of War, Unproven Commander, Sanguinary, Malevolent Leader, Disrespects Prisoners, Deceptive, Hates the Papacy, Wise Administrator, Marital Ties, Religious, Gets Merry, Silly Beliefs, Poet and Cultured.

    And my factions was excommunicated but was reconciled 5-8 turns ago. But the unrest is still there and now it has risen to 50% from 40%.

    Being just the model guy, I cannot give an assertive answer to this.
    But I suspect that Melooo implemented a higher and longer lasting unrest penalty to slow down the advancement of empire building.
    So it's normal in this build of the game.
    I also suspect that the increase from 40% to 50% is due to a recently acquired trait of the faction leader, such as "Silly Beliefs".

    Is the Obotrite conversion event random? My leader has authority but I haven't gotten the message to convert yet. I am under a Crusade right now (only Hungary and Castile joined, suck it pope!) so would would that affect anything?

    I don't know the mechanics of that.
    It could be related to the percentage of Christians in the heartlands of your faction.
