Default Question: does artiliery units makes our armies slower on strategic map?

I remember that in previous Total Wars artiliery/ siege equipment always made our armies slower, what even made artiliery/ siege equimpent absolutely worthless as armies that got these units were slow like injured turtle.

Slower ? Or you mean movement range reduce? I think it's the same in Warhammer.
