Ill tidings seem to come daily from Reikland. The Empire seems hard-pressed to stem the onslaught of greenskins and Chaos. In the south however, things are still looking up. Here, the Knights of Origio march to war!
After a spectacular series of victories by Wissenland, Count Marius pledged to capitalize on the success by launching his own campaign into Sylvania. At the head of a mighty host, the Knights of Origio stuck the first blow, taking a river fort guarding the entrance to the blighted province.
The cursed walls of Fort Bracher were left only moderately guarded by the green hordes, but within them dwelled the dreaded Black Orcs, each worth ten men of Averland, if not more. For this, Count Marius himself took a relief army and brought it to aid in the fight. The battle was hard-won, but in the end the golden flag of averland flew above the fort.
To the south, raids were launched into the disputed lands of the Border Princes. Akendorf was sacked yet again, and the Orcs within slaughtered. The rebels in Broskova suffered a similar fate, though their doom was brought about by the need for the Count to intimidate his nobles and convince them to commit more troops.
All in all, the Southern Front sees victory after victory! We must now hope that the northern front can hold long enough for these triumphs to matter...
