Something wrong when I try to startup

Hi people!
I just installed this mod for the first time. But when I try to startup a campaign game it gives me the message "Please select an item from the list".

And when I try to startup a Custom game. I set everything accordingly, I choose the armies of both sides etc. But when I press "start", the game just shoots me back one step so I am back where I can choose what my team should be.

What seems to be the problem ? Is it an error or have I missed something ?

Ops, this time I did not crack the game. And it worked.. Sorry, I should stop being lazy and cracking the game.

probably not a good idea to mention you use a cracked version.............
