    Default Some questions about units

First a big thank you for the great mod.

I'm playing Rome and just got the Polybian reforms (t140).

I noticed the Socii units are huge with 240 man. It makes i a very strong unit.
I aslo feel it disbalances the historical army compostition for Rome as in Quintes Guide.

Shouldnt 160 man in the unit be better for balancing reasons (cant say anything about historical reasons).

Another thing I noticed is thatt the attack voor Euzenoi (Greek med skirmishers) is very low.
3 attackt is hopeless for sword armed skirmishers.

The Cohors Sociorum was a larger unit. They are balanced, they cost more as a result of their size.

Euzonoi are skirmishers, not line infantry. Their swords are small.

    Thanx for the reply.
My main concern about the size of the Cohors Sociorum is how it affects the army comosion according to your guide since a Cohors Sociorum is much stronger and bigger then other alae units.
So should I count a Cohors Sociorum as 1.5 alea units so 2 units Cohors Sociorum stand for 3 x Hastati Sabbeli?

About the Euzonoi I dont mean that they need an attack of 7 or 8 but +1 or +2 attack would distingush them more from the rabble (light skirmishers).
The Euzenoi are the counterpart off the heavy peltast form EB1 so a bit usefullness should be nice.

The organisation is by alae, doesn't matter how many men are in it. Alae were larger than legions anyway.

Euzonoi are a tithe of the Akontistai, the better men given better equipment. They're still skirmishers. They have the appropriate stats for their equipment and status. Again, they're not line infantry.

There is no equivalence with any unit in EB1, we don't look to that to determine concepts, stats or anything else.

Poly armies put the rape down pretty hard either way , these are the troop types that did conquer most for Rome so I wouldn't feel to bad if I were you . I would definitely play on Hard or even very hard battle settings if you play as Rome because the armies you will contact can not stand and bang with most of the Polybian troops.

When playing as Romans in polybian era, our socii infantry should consist of cohors sociorum and pedites extraordinarii?

Umbrians, Sabeli and Lucanians belong to Camillan era armies?
