Default 1482 in the Year of Our Lord

Edward of Grafton is the undisputed King of England; though what is entirely disputed at this moment is who shall rule in his name. From the outside, it looks as if the stability enjoyed in the reign of the Fourth Edward is now coming to an end, and England shall descend into bloody conflict again.

    Shape of the Markets:
    - It seems in the main English market of Burgundy, wine has become overly saturated. The price of wine has fallen by 25%. (£75 per ship)
    - Wool, as usual, is doing very well, as demand has increased in the wealthy Flemish cities for the valuable imports from England. (£250 per ship)
    - Ore was not doing so well, but it has been buoyed by the sudden domestic appetite for recruiting large numbers of soldiers. It returns roughly to its standard price. (£700)

    Events Elsewhere:

    January - December:

March 22Pope Sixtus IV, in a special bulla, grants self-government rights to the Italian town of Ascoli Piceno.

    Undated:

The Portuguese erect the Fort of Sao Jorge de Mina (Fort Elmina) near the mouth of the River Benya, on the Gold Coast.
    Tizoc rules the Aztecs.
Diogo Cão, a Portuguese navigator, becomes the first European to sail up the Congo.
Ivan III renounces the Mongol Khanate rule over Russia.
Johann Reuchlin visits Florence, and meets Marsilio Ficino.
Johannes Trithemius becomes a novice, at the abbey of St. Martin at Sponheim, in the Diocese of Mainz.
The first edition of Euclid's Elements (Latin translation) is printed.
Schreierstoren is erected in Amsterdam (from which Henry Hudson will set sail on April 4, 1609, on the vessel Halve Maen, to bring him to the harbor of New York and the Hudson River).

Mowbray survives, but briefly suffers an illness. Thomas is very much the same.

Margaret Chedworth dies of a fever. The other Howards are very healthy, and survive.

The boy king suffers from sort of illness which has him bedridden for some weeks, but he lives to exit his childhood, healthy like his father and grandfather
