The few times I had armies going rogue, it was either troops without a general (a stupid mistake from my part) or after the death of the previous FL, while the new one didn't had the time to establish its authority (which is rather logical). Secondly, it has already been said, but it's a great mechanic for role-playing and my only regret in these situations is that the rebel army tend to be too static. I understand that it can be frustrating to lose a good general and an experienced army, but come on, that's part of the fun! Thirdly, the AI is very affected by this mechanic and it would be stupidly unfair to protect the player from it. Criticisms about the easiness of the game are frequent on this forum so this kind of hazards should be welcomed. =)
