Light infantry & unit model speed

Hey folks,

I've been playing around with army composition and unit tactics, and wondering about the best spear infantry units to use as support to flank cavalry. Since cav in EBII fares comparatively poor against infantry, I want to find the fastest spearman I can hire/recruit to join cavalry duels.

1) does anyone have suggestions for fast infantry spear units?
2) what do I look for in the edu to tell how fast a particular unit is?

don't play a lot, but I think the Lakedomian Hoplitai has a good speed...

Any spearman that's actually useful against cavalry won't tend to be fast; but there are a few units in that mobile-but-steady category. Hemithorakitai are one, merc Hoplitai are another. The lighter Celtic mercenary spearmen are pretty handy, too.
