Question about Holy Roman Empire and Vassals?

So the Holy Roman Empire roster was recently revamped. Previously, all the duchies and client states of the Holy Roman Empire, like Saxony, Bavaria, Austria, etc, had 95% of the same roster as the HRE, with color variations. However, since HRE vassals like the Kingdom of Bohemia, Duchy of Loraine, and some of the Italian states have their own unique rosters, does this mean that after this HRE revamp all the other vassals, duchies, and client states of the HRE, such as Saxony, Bavaria, etc, will have their own unique rosters too? My apologies if that's confusing.

You could have simply posted this in the HRE thread... warman222 already explained this very well in one of his videos about sleeper factions, basically you start with the same units but in later tiers you will manage to have unique units and go on your own path. Check the history of the Swiss, Austrians, Bohemians etc. Even if many were part of the union not all were content with their status or simply chose different sides/paths.

Some will, some won't. Maybe eventually every one of them will, but unless we can justify a difference in the roster build, then there's no real point in changing anything. Austria will be different, as will Flanders and Brabant I believe. But the others will likely at least start out as HRE clones, such as Bavaria, Brandenburg, Saxony, etc.

I obviously cant speak for the team and Im not sure whether an official decision has been made on this at all yet, but imho the best method would be to have identical core rosters with a few additional unique units for each faction, similar to the situation with Burgundy and France or with the Iranian factions.

That's what I was trying to figure out, because before the revamp all the vassals had the same roster, maybe 1 extra unit, but different color schemes.

Well, the main reason why Lorraine is unique is because I was not informed that Lorraine was going to be a lot like a HRE-like faction until I had created most of the units for the roster. Instead of throwing away the units I created to make it look HRE, I kept them and just continued on.

Though I cannot really speak for the other HRE factions, I am sure the team will decide whether they need to make them HRE clones or allow people to make them completely unique when it comes to that time. Though I like the notion of make the core units the same, but giving unique units.

See that's what I was thinking. Because before the HRE revamp, it seemed like Brabant, Bavaria, Saxony, etc maybe had 1 unique unit a la "Early era Pikemen" or "Urban Militia", but had the same roster as HRE with different color schemes. I could see Lorraine, Bohemia, Austria and a few others being a totally unique/half similar roster compared to the HRE, but some of the smaller vassal states seem like they'd have the same units, maybe even fewer than the HRE because of size, and a region unique unit or two.

Also, the Lorraine units look fantastic! Like I can see some HRE influence, but there's a lot of uniqueness to them.

Based on this video I guess that the team has decided to split the multitude of skins provided by Fawn for HRE to all the vassals, thus each becoming somewhat unique regarding the aspect of their soldiers even if they formed similar regiments, which might not be such a bad idea...

Edit: If that is "the old" HRE then I strongly recommend that those skins be given to Saxony to make it a unique like northern Crusader oriented Teutono-Saxon blend of an army. Or should I say Thuringo-Saxony!? You got the picture... Even given to Brandenburg as well alongside Thuringia to make things clear for you guys. The present HRE featured by Fawn would be good for say HRE proper, Brabant and Bavaria with slight modifications.
