Help With Map

I'm a rome: total war player, and have barely played any medieval 2. I'm very much used to the style of rome and eb 1 where the map is one solid color instead of only solid where you can see it. Is there anything I can change in the game files to make this the case for eb2? Thanks for listening.

One "hacky" way to solve this is to build watchtowers all over your territory, so that every corner of your empire is in at least one watchtower's scope .

Besides colouring the map homogeneously, it is also important strategically.
