    Default Zeph's Eras and General Mod

    ZEPH's ERAS AND GENERAL MOD

    Mod Features:
    -All units will appear according to the Eras they belong during the Grand Campaign mode.Thus,High units will be unlocked in the High era and the Late units in the Late era.
    This is the main feature and the purpose of this mod.
    -Dismounted Gothic Knights added to HRE faction,armored sergeants added to England and dismounted chivalric knights and chivalric knights added to France.
    -Also now Generals are available in Citadels,you can recruit them there.Late version of general's bodyguard unit is also available after you build King's Stables(or Caliph's Stables in Islamic factions) and provided that the Era of your game is Late.

    NOTE:This mod is totally compatible with the other mods,I personally use it with other mods and there are no problems.
    Also feel free to share your comments and ideas.If you discover any bugs report them to me so far there seems to be none.

    Have you made the earlier units disappear after the higher units appear ?

    No I haven't done that.I thought disappearing of the old units would effect the game balance.

    Because some factions have superior early units and not so great high and late units also I thought people would kinda miss them

    A description of the mod, maybe a copy of the readme, in the first post is always nice.

    I find it sad that you only have 160 downloads so far. This is an excellent addition to the hodge podge of modifications I have. I to find it a bit ridiculous to have all of my units unlocked within the first 50 turns of the game...Nice work.

    One question though - have all units been modified to appear in a more realistic fashion?

    EDIT: Can we do this for buildings as well? Nevermind...I found my answer.

    Well, to be fair this mod is already in on other mods as well. Besides this mods works best with other mods so most likely it boast thier download.

    Mel,I am not sure about General recruiting but adding the missing units such as Dismounted Gothic Knights were in several mods before mine,

    However,I must emphasize that the main feature of my mod is the Unit eras feature which enables you to play the campaign with units appearing in their respective eras of medieval period that they belong to,

    And I am the first person who introduced it to the community noone did this before me,and It wasn't in any other mod. I just wanted to emphasize that no offense...

    Sorry, I did not meant to make it sound like that. What I meant was that your mod is being added or combine already with other mods out there which make thier mods a lot better than before after combining your mod to thiers. Your mod is great BTW, I am also one of it's user. I have two versions of your mod, one without the era restrictions (and recruitable generals) and the other is your regular file.

    Well,I kinda misunderstood you as well I am sorry too,If my reply seemed a little too harsh..
    I wasn't aware that some other modders were using my mod in compilation until you posted about it.
    I believe as gamers we always must have a variety of gameplay features that improves and enhances the game content

    Thanks OTZ, I found it ridicilous too,that's why I did the mod to contribute to the community and to people that felt the sameway as I have.
    160 downloads so far ..Hmm maybe some people don't want the units appearing according to the eras thats why they don't download.
    But still I'm glad that people showed a certain amount of attention to it.

    The answer to your question is yes.I have edited so that every single unit in the game will appear more realisticly.
    For example, the unit Chivalric Knights of Hungary normally appears when you have built the Citadel upgrade that corresponds give it or take the year
    1150-60 in the game,with the mod you get them after 1206.
