In FIRST PLACE is A Dutch Resurgence by NCR. This is the story of General Joost van Durzen and his part in the Dutch Republic's attempt to 'create a new world under the Dutch flag'. Somehow, along with exciting battles, it finds time to include Caribbean Pirates, a mad naval officer engaged in warfare around the Indian subcontinent, and General van Durzen's displeased wife. Who knows what might happen next? The popularity of this entertaining tale means that NCR now has 6 Writers' Study points, and therefore qualifies for a bronze medal. Congratulations, NCR!
In SECOND PLACE is Dreadbolt by Alavaria. Alavaria's Pisans have been unstoppable so far - but now they face the Holy Roman Empire. Can they possibly win? Only Alavaria can tell us that...
As we had fewer than six entrants for this competition, there is no award for third place.
Thanks to all our entrants and everyone who voted, and congratulations to our winners!
