Thanks, yeah I need to update these.
I can confirm it is working now, thx Dresden. Now all hail Emporer Sulla
Nice work, but could you make a submod where you split rome into 4 factions, same as it was in rome 1 TW ?
like this

Yeah I believe we all share that principal.
Is this mod still needed with DEI 1.2.3 as it looks like the latest release Rome is no longer divided by Family?
Yes. If you want Roman & Carthage family member, you need to use the specified mod for 1 of the 3 families of these Roman and Carthaginians factions (only choose one family). While it's true all the other factions already have family members in the grand campaign, Rome & Carthage require this submod for families.
so throughout my campaign as the Seleukids i've been having a bit of crowding in terms of the rise of historical characters. It started rather innocently with some chars appearing 10-20 years early, but now it's reached a point where I am in around 230 BC and my royal family is crowded with the likes of Seleucus II, Seleucus III, Antiokhos III, and most recently Seleucus IV.
Are the turn numbers where they show up exact, or a range (as in, a character has a chance of showing up between turns 500-530 at random) ? And how might I stall some of this so I don't end up blowing through my whole royal family in 50 years? =D
are you by any chance using a 12 or 24 TPY mod?
Did you work on a Update for the Family Tree?
I am not sure how this works with the family tree, it probably puts the character in the "other nobles" part of the party. I may have to just disable the historical characters now that there is a family tree I guess. I am not sure yet.
Any update on this Dresden? Watching an old Let's Play that's just restarted because of this update (recorded last year), but I'm mindful R2 now has a family tree... So is this addon necessary for Rome?
Hopefully this still works, I'm very interested in using the Julia family w/ 12tpy.
Is anybody else using this at the moment and can confirm no issues?
