    Default hum... question?

Ok fellas here is the deal:

I dl XGM final version 3. (in my previos thread I explained why) but:
"Why are Spear Units like Triarii, Thorokitai (sp), etc, be albe to break through a Phalanx? Even a Spartiate Phalanx......" :hmmm: This didn't happen when I played XGM mod before, nor when I played XGM vr 4 recently....

Can anyone tell me how to fix this is? I am sure its a scripting thing....

    Thx guys

As far as I know the unit masses have been increased so they will be more effective against phalanxes, just to balance the gameplay.
Best is to deploy uphill, they usually dont break through the phalanx then.

ohno Did they do the same thing to the cavalry??? 'cause I am seeing them punch through as if this was RTW 1.2:hmmm:

now hold on... I am talking about version 3 final XGM.

I don't think the current version 4.xxx has the same issue.

    But I think it does...
The phalanx was way too overpowered in vanilla rtw anyways, if you think on it a little bit, then it makes sense that they break through the lines.
