awesome
Holy this is amazing.
Absolutely awesome! It's not Rome 1's family tree, but it's as close as we'll get and I love the effort you guys are putting into this!
For some reason this mod desnt work for me. I started seleukid campaign and got vanila family members. Just ruling dynasty and "other nobles."
Does it conflict with my other maybe...
mod "mods_mobjay_golden_emblems.pack";
mod "mods_mod_i_have_a_sarissa_in_my_hand.pack";
mod "mods_camera_mod.pack";
mod "mods_@@@@historicalfamily.pack";
mod "mods_dresden_4tpy_mod.pack";
mod "mods_music_rtw.pack";
mod "notitia_dignitatum_3.0.pack";
mod "mods__majorfactionempires.pack";
mod "mods_elp_blade.pack";
Also historical characters for Seleucids are already included in DeI, you only need submod for Romans.
Another thing is that emblem mod will most likely break scripts and I have sarissa in my hand is not needed as our phalanax already does that (so that mod mighy break other dtuff).
Major factions is also already in DeI and might break mod.
Not sure what last mod and that dignitarium are.

Remove these mods.
- 1&3 and I guess 5(if what it does is giving major factions any kind of surviving bonuses, money autoresolve, etc.) are already included in the main mod.
- 2 DeI already has a camera mod so any other will break many scripts.
- 4: Isn't this a battle overhaul? really?.
- 6: This mod is the one that makes blade shiny? there should be no problem with this.
wow thank you for quick replay. It is my bad i dont mention that i dont use DEI just vanila with aforementioned mods...Mod page on steam workshop state that It is also compatible with vanilla, but requires the 4TPY
Now about my mods:
mod "mods_mobjay_golden_emblems.pack"; - just emblem mod
mod "mods_mod_i_have_a_sarissa_in_my_hand.pack"; - self explaining
mod "mods_camera_mod.pack"; - camera mod
mod "mods_@@@@historicalfamily.pack"; - that is it
mod "mods_dresden_4tpy_mod.pack"; - 4TPY
mod "mods_music_rtw.pack"; - music mod
mod "notitia_dignitatum_3.0.pack"; - unit reskin kinda DEI style
mod "mods__majorfactionempires.pack"; mod by Mitch http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?643123
mod "mods_elp_blade.pack"; - add blades for elephants tusks
A lot of mods are not compatible with DeI or are already in DeI in some format. Thats why we say do not use any other mods with DeI unless they are DeI submods.
For example, your script mods (camera, etc) will break most of the mod systems.
Just had a little thought to make family politics more interesting for factions with Royalty.
I think it may be pretty cool to create a seperate faction for the King and his heir, and have the rest of the Dynasty as another faction.
This way we could simulate how unstable family politics were in such states.
It would also make civil wars more historically accurate^^

I think it'd be enough to simply limit the system of this submod to only work when there's only one person in the "King and Heir" faction and simply rename the second faction into "Dynasty" faction^^

Just to clarify, this mod is now included in the DEI base game?This feature will be added in the next update (1.2.2) and includes 225 new characters across almost all the playable factions. If you want to try it out before the next update, there is a submod available for playing and testing here - Historical Family System Submod.
