Default EB2 needs exposure on Youtube and other social media

Whoever does those awesome Twitter screencaps (https://twitter.com/EBTeam) should do videos in the same eye for the TWC Youtube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/TWCENTERNET

    More info here: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/annou...hp?f=454&a=465

EB could gain more exposure if we had an epic EB2 trailer showcasing the mod's breadth and character. Almost 2000 subscribers and nearly 17,000 views since April. Also EB2 should definitely have its own YT channel for people to make gameplay submissions. We've all had those long YT sessions, browsing through video after video, eventually finding ourselves on something we never knew existed (or wish didn't). That can be refreshing to come upon new content that you either wish existed or wanted to create. That's the beauty of YT, it has so much that someone who knows nothing about EB or TW can end up watching videos about it and get hooked. I'm happy to see a Facebook and Twitter page but maybe we should branch out more. Instagram or Reddit maybe? Another idea is go to history forums. Some have dedicated gaming subforums and some members are experts in the Ancient Era. One I frequent a lot is: http://www.armchairgeneral.com/forums/index.php

I would like to see an official EB discord server where we can post our dank Hellenistic memes and where communicating with the dev is much faster than on the forum.

Speaking only for myself, not the team, I don't have an account on discord, and the idea of responding personally to queries doesn't appeal. The advantage of using the forum is that questions are in public, where the answers are there for everyone to see. Spares me responding to the same things over and over; that's also why I won't respond to game-related queries via PM and steer people back to the forum.

Discord servers are public, you only need to sticky a permanent inivite on the forums here. Other mods I follow have profited from it.
