My computer was being repaired and now I'm back in business. Here's the Kipchak mailed body

And here are the helmets I made, let me know if they're ok

Will Monaspa have both straight and curved swords as secondaries?

Also I tasked the great paleologos to make Georgian shields from those drawings. Could you please provide drawings of round shields as well? They're not very clear in those frescoes.

The Kipchak Monaspa is very nice!
The helmets are accurate as well, the only thing you should change is bottom-right helmet because saint depictions from 4 sides seems inaccurate, leave it only in the front, like this:

Another thing you should note, the top-right helmet belongs to second half of 13th century. So you shouldn't add it to Monaspa. Instead take bottom-left helmet and just make silver version of it for variety.
Lastly, i should ask does middle-bottom helmet have 4 pieces(2 golden and 2 silver)? Like this:

Yes Monaspa should have mix of Georgian straight swords and Kipchak curved Sabres. Here is one of them:

One painter promised Khevsur to paint some round shields with nextlevel drawings. So lets wait for couple days. Before that you could work on round shields without drawings and create those different types of middle reinforcements i posted. Also the reinforcement Khevsur posted recently.

No the middle bottom helmet has only 1 gold and 1 silver part, I made it after this:

Forgive Khevsur for his little inaccuracy. He probably didn't give attention that it would seem as it had only 2 pieces. Also some Medieval painters did the same mistake but Archaeological samples show that it had 4 pieces.

Ok I'll adjust it. As for that fancy Rus helmet, it's taken directly from Rusichi. Maybe one of these could be used? Otherwise it's not a problem, I think we have enough helmet variety for this units.

Btw that 2h axe guard unit looks so cool, basically Georgian version of Varangian Guard.

Nah, i think there are too much spikes and cone shape. You should just change colors of Georgian helmets for variety.

And Khevsur will be pleased with your kind words after i translate it to him.

    Edit:
Btw, did you notice the Kipchak Sabre is too long, almost straight and has Georgian handle? Many imported weapons got changed by local culture, same goes to helmets. We can't just directly import everything. Sometimes we should give it Georgian "shape" first.

Can I keep the old Rus helmet if it only has depictions on the front?

Just to be pedantic (), take care of the face texture jurcek. From the pic above (post #166), the face on the left seems slightly bigger than the other 2
    Other wise, it looks good

@ Levan, about Ani, we might have 2 options:
    1. keep it as independant (don't like to call them rebels ) but as Georgian vassal. That's a feature made by MWY. Basically, the settlement remains independant but gives you extra incomes unless it is conquered by another faction.
    2. Include Ani in KoG but with a relatively strong rebel stack in that province to represent the Shaddadids' will to get ride of the Georgian authority.

    What do you think?

pedantry is the norm in this thread . Those faces are Rusichi screenshots, I won't use them. I just showed their helmets if any can be used. Surprisingly Rusichi doesn't have a single helmet like the ones used by Georgians, they all needed to be remade.

Anyways, here are the swords I plan to use

    @jurcek
Yes you can use that old Rus helmet if you correct depictions. Here is another one you can use:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

Those swords are almost ok. But you should change cross-guard of the first sword because it looks too European. Like this(i recommend to use this cross-guard in 13-15th centuries both on straight and curved swords):
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

As for the second sword, it should have fancier handle, that one looks rusty. Make handles like these, also you should make 12th century straight swords with the same handles:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

This is the form of 12th century handle, first two are 10-11th century:

    @Lifth
I think the second choice is great. It will also represent Saltukid army of Erzurum. You can do the same in high era campaign too, place large Mongol stack near Ani to represent siege in 1236.

    Look nice
My only comment (again ): can you make their helmets a bit darker? They look too bright from my opinion

Very nice! They look much better in the game indeed.

Now, i have quite a few notes to make them more accurate and generally perfect.

1)Lifth is right, instead of white you should color helmets like iron.
2)I know now i will contradict myself but this one was noticed by Khevsur. The fancy helmet with depiction should be egg-shaped like below. We would be grateful if you correct that one.
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

3)The lamellar type below is called "lamellar with protuberances", it was used only by wealthy warriors. So, you should take it from Monaspa and give it to only Aznaurs and guards.
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

This is that type of lamellar from the link Khevsur posted. Check that file for more types of lamellar, pictures are in the bottom!
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

4)Could you please make horses like below(3 pictures)? Important detail is several stripes around horse's neck. Also, the horses have Crinet but i can't find exact same type in 3D for reference. Maybe it is in Rusichi or other mods?
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

5)Lets use 13th century sword only with high period units. For Monaspa use straight swords and sabers both with 12th century handles i posted.
6)Remove white trousers. Use red, blue, green, brown, grey. Preferably a little bit dark versions.
    7) on clothes add some ornaments, especially on the edges:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

8)Give Kipchak faces to Monaspa warriors which have only chain mail.

    P.S.
More shields coming soon. Also if you want us to draw something for reference just ask. Khevsur somehow got a team of painters.
